AOBUT
LEET CARBON, is a product of the LEET Intelligence Co. Ltd. (LEET). LEET was founded in April 2020 by Dr. Manjunatha Venkatappa who want to prove that the use of commercial software for classifying remote sensing data in line with the IPCC guidelines and tree detection is not needed by building a platform for better, quicker and faster access land use land cover and tree data without knowledge of any coding and software’s skills.
Today, LEET Carbon provides not only classification of land use and land cover data but also data-driven solutions for nature-based carbon capture, monitoring, measurement, reporting, and verification, carbon stock changes (loss and gains) from individual farmers to large-scale for the better environment; LEET Carbon also build a cloud computing carbon marketplace where Carbon emitters can offset their emissions through the purchase of carbon credits from the carbon developers towards a zero-emission future.
Pledge to Net-zero carbon
COP26 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) strengthened the need for a deep cut of emissions by 2030 in order to achieve the Paris Target. Consequently, carbon emitters have increasingly faced regulatory requirements for their carbon-emitting products or services, or they need to pay higher prices for failing to reduce their emissions. Many global and international corporations and businesses are committing to becoming carbon neutral. They are looking for opportunities to offset their carbon emissions to achieve this goal. At the same time, carbon standards have been questioned for their transparent monitoring, measurement, reporting, and verification systems. LEET Carbon is offering solutions to this challenge by building and offering a platform for data transparency and transparent monitoring where carbon emitters can offset their emissions. On our platform users can find data on trees and IPCC land cover data; carbon credits; and a monitoring system for:
- effective nature-based solutions planning when spatiotemporal data are used,
- meeting the commitment when emission reductions are purchased,
- earning additional incomes from nature-based carbon reductions, and
- mitigate climate change when trees and forests are planted and protected.
We employ machine learning and deep learning algorithms to classify and detect changes in vegetation and carbons as soon as new satellite imagery is acquired on automation. Unmanned aerial vehicle/Drone is use for validation and testing.
How we work
LEET carbon is a leading provider of Spatiotemporal data, nature-based carbon capture, Monitoring, Measurement and Verification and nature-networking for effective nature-based solutions and to a low-carbon society.
With a team of expertise boasting extensive experience in the field, years of experience in teaching, publishing high-impact journal papers, and working across the south-southeast Asian region for over 20+ years, we are well placed to provide our clients transparent solutions to grow and thrive even in challenging times.
